Altered Clothespins

Growing up in Malaysia, my family had only a washer.  Laundry was hung outside to dry;  rightly so, the weather was very hot and humid there.  I remember we had a bucket full of clothespins. We used those clothespins every day.

I admit that ever since I started to use a dryer, when I had my first child, I was hooked.  Laundry became a joy instead of pain. I didn't have to hang the washed laundry outside anymore.  Instead, I just stuffed them in the dryer and came back when they were dry.

Living in the United States, I hardly saw any clothespins until recently, my husband bought a bag of them.  Another new thing to alter, I thought!  So, I decided to record my tutorial on altered clothespins.

I think you're going to love this tutorial and it's simple to follow.  I enjoyed altering the clothespins, they're not just useful, but adorable as well!

Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Do you have other creative ways to alter this laundry buddy?

I'd love to know!
