Welcome to the first podcast series of the Kreatif Business Corner!
As you might know, I started Kreatif Business Corner last year. I want to use it as a platform to channel my knowledge as an artist, hopefully, inspiring and motivating you to do your own creative work and achieving the dream that you're aiming for.
Kreatif Business Corner Podcast
Beginning this year, I wanted to do things a little differently, so I'm venturing into podcasting.
Personally, I've been admiring podcasters for quite awhile now. I learn a ton of knowledge from these successful entrepreneurs, just by listening to their content. I love the simplicity that a podcast offers, you can listen to the episodes on your phone while you're taking a walk, commuting to work and so on.
Podcasts challenge me to bring my creativity to the next level. The creativity I'm talking about is not only the writing part, which requires me to sit down and write 1000 words worth of content but also the voice over part, which requires extensive rehearsal. Not to mention the countless hours of learning how to produce a podcast series.
What I can say is that, as long as you're open to learning new things, the opportunity will keep showing you the way. I've so much respect and gratitude for these amazing podcasters who've been doing podcasting for years.
Alright, let's see what this pilot episode brings to the table.
About Today's Podcast:
If you've been wanting to know how I got started as an artist, this episode is for you! My personal, creative journey spans two countries, Malaysia and the United States. I humbly consider my journey to be very blessed because I get to do what I love and I have the support of my family.
As a self-taught artist, I've experienced the ups and downs of what it's like to be an artist. I've also gained a lot of experience that has helped guide me to become the artist I am today. If you can relate to my story, then you can learn from my journey and apply it to your art career.
In this Pilot Episode, You'll Learn:
* How I discovered portraits when I was a teenager, but why I didn't pursue art in college
* How I publicized my art while still working a full-time job and studying part time at college
* Why I decided not to study art full time when I finally had the opportunity to do so
* One realization that I learned that helps me so much in stamping out my own unique path
* How I got featured in international publications even though I was a stranger in a new land
