“My mission is to help you find your inner peace through art.”
Siti Nuriati Husin, Realist Painter and Founder, Siti Nuriati Husin Studio
I believe art has the effect of achieving internal peace after putting trust solely in God Almighty.
This is my story…

My Mom
My dearest mom, who was also a wonderful artist, used tempera paints to create realistic paintings. She died suddenly when I was in college, I was barely 18 years old. It was the saddest day of my life. Art has been my way to deal with my sadness about losing my mom at times when I feel like I’m missing her the most. After that, I vowed to focus on art after I graduated from college.

Long Distance Marriage
My wonderful husband is the biggest supporter in my life. But for the first five years, we lived separately before I and our young son moved to the United States. Raising our eldest son alone in Malaysia and running a home-based business taking portrait commissions, art was not only my business but also kept me occupied so I didn’t feel sad for not being with my husband.

Army Mom
Now, I’m experiencing separation again at a whole new level. My eldest son is a member of the US Army. The first year was rough for me as I was not used to being separated from my children. As a homeschool mom for over a decade, my family is so important to me and I feel really blessed to be able to work from home and homeschool my children. Art has played a major role in my entire life, it’s helped me find inner peace as I faced mountains of difficult struggles in my life. Even more so now, after our son left for the army, I learned a great deal by putting trust in God, as He will take care of the rest. Now, I focus on my art and I’m experiencing peace every single day.
