Declare Your Origin Story
Your story is complex, beautiful, and unapologetically yours.
My art gives your heritage a venue, celebrating your story through your homeland’s national flower.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU…
My home is beautiful, but I can’t shake the feeling it’s missing that one piece of art that’d truly connect my space to my heritage.
I know a flag or a map can never truly capture the personal story, resilience, and emotion of my journey. I need something that can.
I have two hearts—one in the country I live in and one in the country I came from—and I’m searching for a way to let them beat together.
I’m secretly worried that my family’s stories will get lost over time, and I’m looking for a way to pass them on from generation to generation.
You’re not alone!

During a homeschool session with my then 10-year old son, I was struck by a thoughtful idea — to look for the national flowers of the world. Curiosity led us to research online and see if there were already such books out there.
As I scrolled page after page, to my dismay, there was no information about such a book and my frustration grew because I felt this was very important information.
I turned to my son and asked, “What if I paint these national flowers and compile them into a book so everyone who’s interested can benefit?”
That frustration led to the birth of my project, World’s National Flowers.
I’m Siti, an international realist painter and pastelist based in Los Angeles. I’ve been reflecting on my role—both as an artist and as a citizen of the world—wondering what my true contribution is. Painting the National Flowers from countries around the world—that’s the answer!
With over 20+ years of experience as an artist, I believe this is my chance to serve humanity through my artwork. It’s aligned with my mission to help my collectors to find inner peace through art.
Little did I know that this project led me to my own quest, finding my own roots as a Malay from Malaysia. I’ve never questioned the origin of Malays until I started this project.
This led me to an unbelievable discovery of my Malay heritage and I’m yearning to explore my heritage even more.
Painting the national flower of my homeland brings a sense of pride of where I come from and most important of who I’ve become. I want to help you find yours through your own homeland’s national flower.

Imagine this…
You’ve just woken in the middle of the night from a dream, sobbing. In the dream, you felt sad because you were telling your father you’re moving to the United States. However, your father, with a big smile on his face, told you that you’ve built a beautiful life. You look over at your American-born husband, sleeping peacefully beside you, and your heart swells. A perfect life, with a beautiful family.
But a part of you is still standing in that dream, talking to your father, still there. The love for your new life doesn’t erase the profound ache for the one you left behind.
Then, your eyes land on the wall. Not on a generic print, but on a masterpiece that contains a world. It is the national flower of your homeland, painted in a realistic style that feels alive. It is the memory of your father’s hands in his garden. It is the defiant symbol of the place you left, not forgotten, but honored.
This isn’t just art. It is the bridge between the two parts of your heart. It’s the silent conversation you have with your father. It is a way to teach your children about their roots without having to find the words.
The ache isn’t gone, but it is now a beautiful part of your home.
The fear of forgetting has been replaced with the comfort of knowing that your heritage has a visible, permanent part of your life—and is a proud part of your family’s story.
Despite living in the United States for two decades now, I still get excited whenever I come across the national flower of my birth country, Malaysia.
Growing up in Malaysia and having to learn about my country in grade school, I assumed that people from other countries would be knowledgeable about theirs.
But I was wrong!
Most likely, you don’t know the national flowers of the world. And I believe most people don’t know the names of the national flowers or have never even thought about them.
Besides learning about other countries’ geography and the history behind their national flowers, this project will bring joy, beauty, healing, and, most importantly, inner peace to both you and me.

We’ve never been given the opportunity to tell our immigrant stories because it’s personal and only restricted to our family.
We probably never even thought that it is so important to keep the story alive so our family knows where it all began and how we got here. We never thought we would forget but who can guarantee that we will remember forever. Perhaps no one has ever connected us with a tangible object that we could use to tell our untold, beautiful story, such as a flower that is a national emblem.
I had an epiphany to start telling my own story so I’d remember my own journey and therefore, ‘What’s your immigrant story’ rang a bell in my head.
After living in the U.S. for 2 decades, I feel my life has been normalized and I forget how my story is so unique, exciting, and beautiful. This World’s National Flowers Project has reignited that excitement that I once had and I want to extend that to you.
Storytelling is truly powerful.
My goal is for us immigrants in the United States to have a platform to tell our beautiful story through our homeland’s national flowers. Remembering your roots will help your children and their grandchildren to remember who you are when you are no longer with them.

Our “Love It” Promise
Making a declaration about your heritage should be an act of joy, not a risk. The stories we preserve are meant to last a lifetime. So is the art.
Siti Nuriati Studio promise that every painting and print is crafted with archival materials and a commitment to permanence, ensuring your masterpiece can be a part of your family’s story for generations.
That’s why every piece is backed by our unconditional, 30-day return policy.
If you don’t love it, for any reason, send it back for a full refund. No questions asked.
This is NOT for you if…
- You believe art should match the couch, not the soul.
- You are comfortable with your home being a blank slate, leaving your heritage in a dusty photo album.
- You see a painting as decor and not a declaration.
- You want to buy what’s popular, not what’s personal.
This is PERFECT for you if…
- You have ever felt like you lived in a home that wasn’t fully yours.
- You believe a family’s story is a masterpiece that deserves to be on display.
- You want your children to see their roots as a source of pride, not a quiet secret.
- You want your walls to speak a language that is unapologetically your own.
- You are ready to make a statement without saying a single word.

Look at the walls in your home. Be honest: are they telling your story, or are they filled with the stories of strangers?
Now imagine your wall displays national flower prints of your and your spouse’s homeland, and the country you call home now.
Your home could be more than just a place to live. It’s a bold declaration of who you are.
This national flower painting is a daily, visible, and unapologetic reminder of where you came from, and who you’ve become.
This is the missing piece that connects your home to your heart.
It’s a gift to your children, a permanent piece of their heritage that they can see and touch.
You are a storyteller who brought a world with you to a new home far away from home.
Don’t let your heritage be a secret.
It’s time to finally tell that story through your homeland’s national flower!
